You can permanently delete your CareKosh account and the data associated with it at any time, using either method below.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
Recommended if you still have the app installed.
Open CareKosh and sign in.
Go to Profile → Delete Account.
We email you a confirmation link. Your account is deleted only after you confirm by email (this protects you from accidental or unauthorised deletion).
Option 2 — Request by email (web)
Use this if you no longer have the app installed.
Email support@carekosh.com from the email address registered to your CareKosh account.
Use the subject line: Delete my CareKosh account.
We will verify the request belongs to you (e.g. by confirming from your registered email) and complete the deletion. We aim to action verified requests within 7 days and confirm by email when done.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove the following from our active systems:

Details
Account & profile
Name, email, username, password hash, and authentication tokens
Inventory
All items, categories, quantities, expiry dates, notes, supplier details, and links
Orders & activity
Order records and your activity history
Item photo references
Photo URLs stored as item metadata
What may be retained (briefly), and why
Encrypted backups: residual copies in routine backups are overwritten on our normal backup cycle (within 30 days).
Legal/security records: we may retain a minimal record only where required by law or to prevent abuse.
Files you exported yourself (PDFs, JSON) or data you copied to your clipboard live on your own device and are not controlled by us — delete those locally if you wish.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you only want to stop using the app, you can simply uninstall it without deleting your account.
